Lost your only car key near Los Gigantes — or out on the west coast?
Booked ahead — Playa Paraíso, Guía de Isora, Los Gigantes and Puerto de Santiago.
Same floors as my Tenerife pricing page for the work — lockout from €56, spare keys from €60, lost-all-keys from €200. One written number before I drive, and that’s the number you pay.
Room for about five vehicles on a run day — more or fewer depending on what the jobs are. Text me the year, make and model and where the car sits — I’ll come back with the date of the next run out your way.
Waiting on the next run? Text me NEXT TRIP and your town — I’ll message you when the next run out is set, so you’re not watching for a post.
Put me on the listI’m Olexy, a mobile auto locksmith from Puerto de la Cruz. I drive out to Los Gigantes and the west coast on set dates and cut and program car keys right at your vehicle — no tow, no dealership, no call centre. Planned trip, quoted first — not a twenty-minute rescue.
Same prices as Tenerife for the work: lockout from €56, spare key from €60, all-keys-lost from €200 (from €200 for push-to-start). Whatever the visit involves, you get one written number by text before I drive — that number is the agreement. Pay after the key works — 12-month warranty.

Before you text — the honest version
Los Gigantes and the west coast are planned trips from my base in Puerto de la Cruz. Please read this before booking:
What you get
Dealer-level access to your vehicle’s key data — the same programming a dealership uses, done at the car.
The newer and higher-end ones
Lexus and most BMW and MINI — proximity and push-to-start fobs, all-keys-lost included (BMW all-keys-lost quoted individually; a few late-model BMWs I confirm by text first). Spare keys on pre-2018 Jaguars too. Most shops won’t take these on — they’re a far more involved job.
What it isn’t
A drop-everything call-out. West-coast runs are planned ahead — text me and I’ll tell you the next realistic window.
One hard line
Car keys only — not house doors, padlocks, or boat locks.

The drive out, honestly
Puerto de la Cruz to the west coast — and exactly how far I'll go.
There's no shop near you; there's me, driving out from Puerto de la Cruz. Here's the route I drive and where I stop.
The corridor — the run I drive
Tenerife → Adeje & Playa Paraíso ≈1.5 h → Guía de Isora → Los Gigantes & Puerto de Santiago ≈2 h
The route and arrival time depend on your location and the planned visit from Puerto de la Cruz. Send me where the car sits; I will confirm the full quote before leaving.
Past the corridor — still served
The road inland toward Teno → Santiago del Teide ≈3 h → Masca
I still come out this far — the written quote covers the whole visit, agreed by text before I commit to the drive. Masca is about as far as I commit; past that I'll say so honestly.
Close to the route but not on it? Text the location anyway — worst case I say it's too far and point you somewhere nearer. Somewhere far in another direction entirely? Runs in other directions happen too — here's how my scheduled runs work — and if it's genuinely past what a run can reach, I'll tell you straight.
Why people text me from out here
Which jobs can I book on a planned visit?
Most often it's a full set of lost keys rebuilt from scratch — no dealer nearby, no tow needed. But everything travels: a spare key before the long weekend, fob programming, a key cut from the lock with no original left, or a plain car lockout.
Automotive only — no house doors, padlocks, boat locks, or safes. If the lock isn't on a vehicle, I'll point you to someone who does buildings.
To quote a west-coast trip
- ✓Year / make / model + what's wrong, and the address — by text
- ✓Where the car sits — town, holiday rental, or road marker
- ✓A photo of your key, if you still have one
That’s the whole ask. The written quote comes straight back — the same work floors as my pricing page, with the whole visit in one written number.
If I need the VIN to pin down the exact key, I’ll ask for it then — here's what it does and doesn't reveal.
What it costs out here
Tenerife prices for the work, done where the car sits.
The key work itself costs the same as it does in Tenerife — the pricing-page floors don't change because the car is on a lake. Before I drive, you get one written number for the whole visit — the point of a planned trip is the service at your location, without hauling the car into the city. That number is agreed by text before I commit to the drive, and it's what you pay when the key works.
The work — same as the city
- Lost all keys — transponder / remote-headfrom €200
- Lost all keys — push-to-start smart keyfrom €200
- Spare / extra key — transponderfrom €60
- Remote head / flip keyfrom €120
- Proximity smart keyfrom €200
- Key fob programmingfrom €60
- Car lockout (keys locked inside)from €56
- Service call — only if I can’t complete the job€30
That €30 applies only when I drive out and can’t finish because of something about the vehicle I wasn’t told about beforehand — a broken ignition behind what looked like a key problem, say — or if the job is cancelled after I’m on the road, or no one’s there when I arrive. It is never added on top of a finished job. How the service-call fee works.
The trip — the only extras
Travel — in the written quote
I travel from Puerto de la Cruz to Los Gigantes, Puerto de Santiago and other west-coast locations by arrangement. Any travel charge is included in the written quote agreed before I leave.
Night (9 p.m.–7 a.m.) — flat €50
I work 24/7, every day, and there’s no weekend rate, no holiday rate, no rush rate. If the work lands between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m., a flat €50 night callout fee is added on top of the job’s regular starting price — named in the same written quote.
Plus applicable tax
Tax is added to the total and itemized on your receipt. Every cost is in the written quote first — no surprise line when I pull up.
The number you agree to by text is the number you pay. If you'd rather not send the VIN before booking, that's fine — the quote just comes back as a small range until I see the car.
Registered to work here — not just visiting
A registered local business, not just a van passing through.
Spain doesn't require a locksmith licence, so it's on you to check who you trust. I make it easy: a both business in Spain, liability insurance, and photo ID checked against proof of ownership before I cut a single key. More about who I am.

West-coast questions, answered straight.
The out-of-town ones I actually get. General service questions live on the full FAQ page.
Do you actually drive out to Los Gigantes?
Yes, by arrangement. I travel from Puerto de la Cruz to Los Gigantes and the west coast. Send your vehicle details and location; I will confirm the next available visit, route and full quote.
I lost my only key at a holiday rental in Los Gigantes — can you still make one?
That's the job I'm built for out here. With no key to copy, I decode the locks at the vehicle, cut a fresh key, and program it through dealer-level access — right where the car is parked. I need photo ID and proof of ownership before I cut anything, and the run out is booked ahead rather than same-day.
How much does it cost compared to Tenerife, and is there a travel charge?
Same as the city — the floors on my pricing page hold on the west coast: all-keys-lost from €200, from €200 for a push-to-start smart key. Travel, when it applies, goes into the same written quote — you see one number by text before I ever drive, and that number is the answer.
Do I have to pay anything before you drive out?
No. Nothing is prepaid — you pay when the key works, same as in Santa Cruz. The one written number you get by text before I drive is the whole agreement. What I need is enough notice: west-coast trips are planned ahead, not same-day — text me and I'll get you the next date out.
Are you a registered business, not just someone with a van?
Yes. Otypro is a registered business in Spain, with commercial liability insurance. Ask for the registration details before I start — I'll show you.
Do you do house doors, padlocks, or boat locks while you're out there?
No — car keys only, everywhere I work. No house doors, padlocks, boat locks, or safes. If it's not an automotive key or a car lockout, I'll point you to someone who handles buildings.
Is there an auto locksmith in Los Gigantes?
Yes — Otypro runs planned trips from Puerto de la Cruz to Los Gigantes and the west coast. Local lock shops lean residential, and modern car keys and fobs are a much more complex job — the work I specialise in, with dealer-level access for most makes on the road. Booked visits, written quote and travel named up front.
Stuck out east? Let's get a plan, not a panic.
Text me the vehicle and where it's sitting near Los Gigantes or on the west coast. You'll get an honest window and one written number before I start the drive — that number is the agreement. Text me the vehicle and your town — I’ll come back with the next date out.
